Moto G9 Play smartphone spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon 662 SoC

After launching the Moto G 5G Plus earlier this month, the company is gearing to launch the Moto E7 soon.

The new price of the phone set at Rs. 9,499. Priced at Euro 277.15 which is around 23000 for a 4GB RAM+128GB variant. The handset is offered in Arctic Blue and Royal Blue color variants. According to Leaks, the Moto G9 Plus can be priced around € 227.15 i.e. around Rs 19,000. However, it is not available for purchase now. Now Moto G9 Play has been spotted in a Geekbench listing suggesting a Qualcomm processor with 4GB of RAM. It will feature a waterdrop notch on the front and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The Motorola Moto Z3 measures 156.50 x 76.50 x 6.75mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 156.00 grams. It packs a 5,000 mAh battery along with 10W Rapid Charging technology. Pie (most of the G8 collection is on Android 10 though). The listing reveals that the smartphone will be backed by a 4GB of RAM.

For cameras, the device features a triple-camera module which comprises a 16MP main sensor with an f/2.0 aperture, a 2MP macro shooter, and another 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.

Given that Motorola is supposedly upping the RAM count and equipping the phone with a better chip, we can also expect other improvements.

The Geekbench listing shows some features of the phone that the memory will double them the G8 Play which was launched in October a year ago. The phone has a fingerprint scanner embedded in the Motorola logo on the rear. Although the camera of the handset doesn't offer good pictures in low-light.

Further, the smartphone is rumored to sport a 6.3-inch HD+ (720x1560 pixels) IPS LCD screen with a pixel density of 273ppi.
