Tina Turner has come out of retirement at age 80 to release a Kygo remix of her 1984 mega hit, "What's Love Got to Do With It".

"I love working around timeless vocals and although it's challenging to preserve elements of the original track and adding my own touch, I'm extremely happy with how it turned out!" he concluded. "Greece", the second of DJ Khaled's two new Drake collaborations, appears at #4.

Kygo teased the project on Twitter earlier this week, calling the tune one of his "all time favorite songs".

It's not Sarah's first time producing visuals for Kygo, and the fruits of their latest collab features Laura Harrier from Hollywood and BlacKkKlansman, and Charles Michael Davis from The Originals, Grey's Anatomy, and Younger in a very good exploration of fading love, emotional unavailability, and women reclaiming strength and sexuality after heartbreak.

"What's Love Got to Do With It" appears on Turner's fifth studio album, Private Dancer, released in May 1984.

Last summer, Kygo reached #2 on the U.S. iTunes sales chart with his reworked version of the late Whitney Houston's "Higher Love" cover. "I don't dress up", she told the outlet. Turner's upbringing and career also were the focus of the coronavirus-interrupted Broadway show "Tina: The Tina Turner Musical", starring Adrienne Warren. It was only a few hours back when Kygo took to his youtube channel KygoMusic to release the remix version of the evergreen song.
