The previous War Table showed us new gameplay and missions, but now the news is beginning to ramp up.

In addition to the standard edition for $59.99, Marvel's Avengers is also available in an Exclusive Digital Edition for $69.99, a Deluxe Edition for $79.99 and an Earth's Mightiest Edition for $199.99.

War Zones are missions you can play with a mix of AI and humans; there are five in the beta. The Marvel's Avengers Beta commences on Xbox One from 14th August with a pre-order, before the open beta starts on 21st August to 23rd August. In the full game, War Zone missions can range in duration from as short as 10 minutes to around two hours in length. What's great is, we have a whole video covering the BETA including which characters we can use and what kind of maps we get to play in.

Gamers will be dumped to a tutorial assignment determined by the Golden Gate Bridge, offering a sense of how exploration and combat will perform from Marvel's Avengers. Players that sign up for an account will receive a Thor in-game nameplate when Marvel's Avengers launches on September 4.

To earn Hulk Smashers, you'll need to participate in and finish the content of the Marvel Avengers beta on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. Each mission dynamically scales based on the team size and player level. As you play, you'll unlock gear and perks, to boot. Once the full game is out, however, you will be able to play these mission types with whatever unlocked character you choose, including the newly announced Hawkeye.

In a new look at Marvel's Avengers, you can see Clint take out an entire room of robots with just his bow and arrow, and it seems as if he also has the hearing aids made by Tony Stark in the game. The beta will be open to all other PlayStation 4 players and players who preordered on Xbox or PC through the weekend of August 14-16. "Those moving their saves to next-gen will transfer their player profiles and progression so they can pick up right where they left off". The free update to PS5 and Xbox Series X will be available from the debut of the next-gen consoles.
