Njoku, who had previously requested a trade out of Cleveland, is sticking with the Browns and devoted to the season ahead.

"So no trade request anymore", Rapoport said.

Njoku has had "some good meetings with the new Browns' organization including GM Andrew Berry, and he has made a decision to give the team his full commitment right now and go from there", his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told ESPN's Adam Schefter. "The organization's stance hasn't changed in that we believe in David, excited to work with him". The Browns had already picked up the 2021 option on the 2017 first-rounder's rookie contract this offseason, after Njoku was limited to just four games a year ago because of a broken wrist.

With Njoku ready to go, it's likely he'll line up in plenty of two tight end sets with Cleveland free-agent acquisition Austin Hooper.

Njoku, a 2017 first-round pick out of Miami, broke his wrist and suffered a concussion in Week 2 last season.
