Now, Seth Rogen has responded to the B.C. Premier on Twitter, stating that he, "Just slid in to your DMs!" This includes two cases that are epidemiologically linked.

There have been 78 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours in B.C, including three at the Okanagan Correctional Centre in Oliver that has been now classed as an outbreak.

At the end of another week of a spike in COVID-19 cases, B.C. health officials announced another 84 on Friday.

Dr. Henry pointed out the number of younger people, in their 20s and 30s, with COVID-19 is growing significantly.

More than 2,026 people are in isolation and being monitored due to potential exposure.

HAIDA GWAII-Northern Health has released an update on the first, and only outbreak in the Northern Health Authority, this far.

No new deaths attributed to COVID-19 were reported by the province Friday. "And we need to do it every single day".

Fraser Health also declared a new outbreak in the acute care section of Queen's Park Care Centre, a long-term care facility in New Westminster, B.C.

"A lot of British Columbians of all age groups want to get involved in this debate because it's about our future as individuals and families in this community", he added.

Reynolds' message was a response to Horgan's public call-out earlier this week, in which he specifically asked "Deadpool", a superhero character played by Reynolds, and B.C. -born actor Seth Rogen for help in getting out the message about physical distancing to the young people whom officials could not easily reach through official channels.

"This weekend, we urge everyone to stay strong and hold the line", Henry and Dix said.

Henry also says we have it within our ability to make the changes we need to bend our pandemic curve back down and continue in our B.C. restart, but it takes the combined efforts of everyone, not just a few. In Alberta, people in their 20s make up the largest proportion of active cases, at 22 per cent, while people in their 30s followed with 19 per cent.

In the Vancouver Coastal Health region, ongoing surveillance and enforcement operations have resulted in the closure of several bars, restaurants and nightclubs following transmission events: "some by public health order and others voluntarily". "Having someone like Ryan Reynolds step into this debate reminds us one more time, that we're all in this together".
