David Sandberg Made a Trailer for Made-Up Shazam 2 Reviews

Sandberg, the director for DC's Shazam movie, which is now expecting a sequel, took to Twitter recently to share his newest creation: a "trailer" for the movie featuring some early, uh, let's just say they're reviews. 2, a film that he has nevertheless to shoot.

Social media site Letterboxd now has a few reviews for Shazam 2 up. "Well, we'll see how long this goes, because I mean, we were going to start shooting this year".

Those who follow Sandberg on social media will certainly not be the first time that they will have found themselves faced with a insane, brilliant and amusing joke from the director of Shazam!

Sandberg had a pretty hilarious way of addressing the early Shazam 2 reviews that have popped up online. The reviews, however, aren't from the usual outlets featured in film commercials. The director put together a fake trailer and used the reviews to start hyping the sequel, which has not even been filmed yet. Exhibited in front of footage of the titular character and various pictures, the reviews tackle the film, Sandberg himself and some of the Shazam! stars. "Jack Dylan Grazer I'm free Thursday evening to color ur nails and dance in ur room to Fleetwood Mac", one other evaluate reads, referring to the actor who performs Freddy Freeman, finest buddy of Shazam's alter-ego Billy Batson. Sandberg and Henry Gayden will return to direct and write the sequel, respectively. Initially set for launch on April 1, 2022, Warner Bros. and DC Comics determined to push again the sequel seventh months to November 4, 2022, as a result of of manufacturing delays introduced on by the coronavirus pandemic.
