Kardashian, however, defended her Skims maternity shapewear and said the aim was to support the body during pregnancy instead of slimming it.

While many fans and followers questioned Kardashian's latest release, some celebrities weighed in on it too.

"It provides support to help with the uncomfortable weight being carried in your stomach which affects your lower back and the compression on the leggings helps with pain relief caused by swelling", she continued. She's been harshly critical of the Kardashians in the past, and her vocal opposition to Skims' maternity shapewear was crystallized in a lengthy observation after Kardashian announced Saturday that the pregnancy collection would launch this week.

"It would be so cool if pregnant people could just be allowed to be pregnant and get bigger and not be self conscious, and enjoy the miracle taking place inside their body and not have to worry about feeling embarrassed/shamed that their body is changing for an wonderful reason".

"I've very much so enjoyed my spree lately of shedding light on. tabloid culture towards women via showing you how they twist all my words and actions and I hope it makes us all second guess everything we see them write/say about all women in the public eye", Jamil tweeted on Monday. But from the discourse online I will say: "I wish we could just Normalize just focusing on the inside of a pregnant body, not the outside", Jamil, 34, wrote in an Instagram on Sunday. She added that the SKIMS wear isn't to slim the body.

"When you're pregnant and you're sitting down a lot, or on bed rest like me, you tend to just sit there, and if you're wearing regular, basic-a** underwear, all it does is roll inside of folds I didn't even know I had", the wife of John Legend continued.

The British starlet went on to state that she does not blame pregnant ladies for feeling uneasy. The wife of Kanye West also explained that her SKIMS collections set to be "worn after you have given birth and provides the comfort and support that most women need after delivery especially if you are recovering from a cesarean". Anyone who is carrying a baby inside only wants to feel good about themselves both mentally and physically.

She wrote: "What you've been waiting for: @SKIMS Maternity is coming soon!" The line, which drops on Wednesday, September 16, includes "solutionwear" tights, sculpting shorts, a nursing sculpting bra, sculpting high waist briefs, and a sculpting bodysuit.

However, the announcement left some fans questioning why pregnant women should buy the product.

Jameela said in the post: "I'd already read Kim's description of the product before I spoke. Like, we're not trying to do anything to trick you, we're pregnant".

"We'll forever cherish the wonderful memories and countless people we've met along the way".

The statement was signed by Kim and her siblings, Kourtney, Rob, and Khloe Kardashian, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, her mom, Kris Jenner, and Scott Disick.

"Her two-decade-long expertise in fashion, social media, and dealing with the rollercoasters of fame give her an open field for ideas".

On Monday, she described on Dear Media's "The Papaya Podcast" that she's not "saying that we should cancel the Kardashians", however rather attempting to hold them responsible for their marketing.
